"The New Normal" original slam poem

My last post, "How the pandemic served as magnifying glass for inequality", was based on this slam poem I wrote at the beginnings of the crisis which I therefore would like to share with you too.

*A little disclaimer though: I am not trying question any recent measures governments have put into place. In fact, I do believe that they are the one most effective tool we currently have to combat this virus. I just wanted to question the narrative surrounding the topic. Some say that humanity's health is a reflection of the Planet's health. Perhaps we should be acknowledging that more along with the multiple other flaws in our system that have been highlighted during this pandemic.
